Past projects
Here are some examples of business areas in which TAG Canada has historical cases as technical references.
Ink and cardboard
The system was able to treat all the water in the plant. The sludge dewatered by the filter press had the consistency of solid shoe wax. The operator’s intervention was limited to once a day and a light was installed in the plant to signal when the filter press was ready to be emptied. The client was very satisfied with the program; operator intervention was reduced by 90%. No chemicals needed to be handled, except when filling the hopper with a powder flocculant and installing the hose for transfer from the TAG41A40 tank.

Oily wastewater
When TAG 40A60 was used, industrial oily wastewater discharge standards were maintained at all times. The decreased sludge volume slightly reduced the cost of sludge disposal.

Paint and wallpaper
Operator intervention was minimal, i.e., they emptied the filter press at the appropriate time, checked the wastewater treatment, and periodically calibrated the pH electrode for coagulation.
When TAG Canada Inc.’s program was used, industrial oily wastewater discharge standards were maintained at all times. The cost of treatment and equipment maintenance was reasonable.

Drinking water
The use of TAG 40A60 provided good water quality control at dosages below the program used. In the case of very high turbidity in the raw water, (e.g., 250 NTU), the dosage of TAG 40A60 did not exceed 100 mg/l.
